Nisland Spookfest Scares up a Crowd
Nisland volunteers including City Council Members and the local CAT program put together a Halloween themed event like no other. The fairground pavilion was transformed into a foggy, cobwebbed delight that provided fun, prizes and screams throughout the evening. Upstairs featured a spookhouse, and a costume contest was held towards the end of the night. Many local businesses contributed, all funds raised went towards the fairground grandstand repair fund and food raised from the one can admission went to the CAT program who will distribute it to those in need throughout the NVN area.

Way to go Nisland! I hear you also have a wonderful new sign for your town! The Spookfest looked like a great time! Congrats to the CATs group for all of their hard work, too! Keep it up!
